The Gift of Giving Back
While many of us have faced significant challenges over the last 12 months, one group of women will always remember this year for an entirely different reason.
Every year, women from around Auckland rely on Women’s Refuge to provide shelter and support as they escape from domestic abuse and every year this incredible organisation works tirelessly to help those women and their children fleeing terror at home.
That’s why Maman has partnered with Women’s Refuge to bring a little extra joy into the lives of women and children who have bravely started new lives away from abusive homes.
We call this project ‘The Gift of Giving Back’ because we recognise that many in our community share our passion for giving back – especially during the festive season.
From mid November through to mid December, we accept beautiful gift-wrapped Wish List donations and put them under the tree in-store.

Every year since we started this initiative we are utterly blown away with the support from our customers, local businesses and community.
Mid December each year our founders Kate and Emma deliver all donations to Women’s Refuge ahead of the Christmas Giving Day they put on.
Finally, a massive THANK YOU for all your donations. We are proud to say we will continue to make The Gift of Giving an annual partnership with the amazing people at The Women's Refuge.
