It is such a pleasure to introduce you to Lauren, our new Maman Boutique Manager.  Having spent years working in fashion and beauty across retail management, make-up artistry, recruitment and managing regional training, Lauren is an absolute force of retail knowledge.  Combining her love for working with creative people and her passion for colour and styling, Lauren enjoys nothing more than chatting with customers, helping them to understand fashion so they can feel beautiful and have fun in the process of getting dressed.  

Favourite Maman Brands?  Anine Bing, Citizens of Humanity, American Vintage and RIXO.

Wardrobe Staples? With warmer weather on the way I love a good pair of shorts and slides with a fitted tank and some jewellery. For Winter, I love a good chunky knit with jeans and sneakers.

Current Maman Wishlist? The Citizens of Humanity 'Paloma' jeans, and the Essential Antwerp 'Egeria' Sweater

Style inspiration? I love Scandinavian fashion, how it is so timeless yet chic with an eccentric flare. I love Elsa Hosk's aesthetic, a good balance of quintessential Scandianvian fashion.

Style advice for our Maman Women? Having good quality core pieces in your wardrobe is essential. And of course, wear what makes you feel and look amazing!


If you have been into the Maman boutique recently you have no doubt been greeted by the infectious smile of Cece.  Recently finishing her studies in fashion, Cece brings a knowledge of cuts and fits and what works for every woman's body to Maman.  Her wealth of garment knowledge and love for texture, colour and pattern is so exciting to have in the boutique.

Favourite Maman Brands – American Vintage, Zadig & Voltaire and Mos Mosh.

Wardrobe Staples – In the warmer seasons my staples are a good pair of shorts with slides and cute sunglasses.  For the colder seasons I can't go past a cosy tracksuit paired back with sneakers.

Current Maman Wishlist – The Bia Blazer from Baum Und Pferdgarten and the new Laura B Elle Gala handbag!  I am also loving the new Maison Balzac collection with the Ocean and Scallop platters at the top of my list.

Style Inspiration – I would have to say my sisters Kate and Emma.  I also love the style of Ralph Lauren.

Style Advice for our Maman Women – Dress to impress yourself and accessorise.  Always accessorise!

Caroline joins us with a strong background across fashion, travel, recruitment and hospitality.  Here at Maman we love how open she is to fashion and its evolution; never afraid to try something new as it may just become her next favourite wardrobe piece!

Wardrobe Staples – I always feel good in a well cut blazer.  The last few years have seen an increased selection of great dresses which I am loving.

Current Maman Wishlist – A piece of Maiami knitwear and a gorgeous Laura B evening Bag.

Style Inspiration – My beautiful aunties - always immaculately dressed and ready to dance!

Style Advice for our Maman Women – It's okay to stray off your list.  Often the pieces that we stumble across become our wardrobe favourites.

Co-founder Emma is well known for her effortlessly cool style.  Her love of classic well-cut garments shows through every season in the curated ranges she handpicks alongside Kate for Maman.  Emma loves nothing more than getting time on the shop floor to style the Maman Women, it is still one of the most favourite parts of her day to day running’s of the business.  

Favourite Maman Brands – Wow there are so many!  I wear a lot of Ba&sh, Zadig et Voltaire, Anine Bing, Citizens of Humanity, Transit and Philippe Model.

Wardrobe Staples – A well cut blazer, crisp white shirt and a killer pair of denim jeans with trainers.

Current Maman Wishlist – The Viva Strass Blazer and the Pomy Trousers by Zadig et Voltaire are my hot tip.  I am counting the days to the new season Ulla Johnson collection, so many incredible pieces in this drop.

Style Inspiration – I am constantly inspired by all that is around me.  From architecture to films from the past and present, runway shows, fashion publications/sites and the people I meet. I also adore Caroline de Maigret, the author of 'How to be a Parisian', I love her quintessential French style.

Style Advice for our Maman Women – I believe the secret of great style is to feel good in what you wear.  I love how you can change your look depending on how you are feeling!

As a busy mum of two young kids and co-founder of Maman, Kate loves being able to bring her sense of easy dressing mixed with a bit of ‘rock-chic’ to the office.  No two days are the same for Kate, as she juggles all facets of the growing Maman business, but her biggest reward remains being on the floor and knowing she has made someone feel fantastic.

Favourite Maman Brands – Zadig et Voltaire for their blazers and pants, Ulla Johnson for a beautiful printed dress, Xirena for basics, and Ba&sh for off-duty cool.

Wardrobe Staples – Lately it has been my Xirena Rex pants (I have them in most colours) paired with a crisp white shirt like Anine Bing Mika Shirt or Citizens of Humanity Kayla Shirt. I do love a great pair of denim jeans – Cindy by PAIGE are a favourite cut, a floral Ulla Johnson top, Philippe Model Temple Sneakers and topped off with a Zadig et Voltaire Blazer.  Always with my Louve phone case strapped to my body!

Current Maman Wishlist – Zadig & Voltaire blazer, Ulla Johnson dresses and anything from Anine Bing’s new season drop.

Style Inspiration –  I am currently loving Princess Diana’s iconic looks.  I love how she made a simple classic shirt and jeans look so chic.  Simple jewellery, great footwear and a gorgeous timeless bag.  You can’t really go wrong with this vibe. 

If you are ever having a bad day, come in to Maman and spend some time with Susan.  Her experienced eye and love for fashion, mixed with her sense of humour and honesty makes for some changing room fun!  Susan has worked in high fashion for over 30 years and still has a passion for dressing up.  As Susan always says 'Fashion fades but style is eternal'.

Favourite Maman Brands - Transit Par-Such and Mes Demoiselles.

Wardrobe Staples - I love classic pieces in black.  I know I should embrace more colour but I adore black as it pairs back with a crisp white shirt so perfectly.

Current Maman Wishlist - I adore the Anine Bing Tay Vest and Aspen Shirt combination.  Anything from new season Xirena would be great too!

Style inspiration - I am inspired by interiors and magazines - I am mad on magazines.  I love sophistication with an informal element; gorgeous yet comfortable. 

Style advice for our Maman Women - If in doubt, leave it out.  Just remember, fashion fades but style is eternal.

Surrounded by beauty and fashion for most of her career, Sue has a true passion for helping women find their own style.  Her impeccable eye can be seen in our new season collections, with her influence coming through in classic pieces mixed with seasonal trends. Maman prides itself on product selection and Sue is our product queen, working tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring every garment finds its way from the designer showrooms to the boutique floor and into the wardrobes of our Maman Women.

Favourite Maman Brands - It’s a bit like choosing your favourite child!  My top pick is Zadig & Voltaire, their styling is classic but with a twist.

Wardrobe Staples - A lot of my workday involves moving stock around, so my wardrobe needs to be practical and comfortable.  Velvet t-shirts with jeans; my go-to's being the AG Denim Ex-Boyfriend Slim and always teamed back with Philippe Model sneakers. For a pretty dress RIXO is always my first choice.

Current Maman Wish List - All the new season product is landing in store now, so my list is endless to be honest!

Style inspiration - This comes from everywhere.  We have very stylish women that come into store and its always interesting to see what outfits they put together.  I haven’t got a style icon as such but love to get inspiration from movies like A Single Man, Tom Ford's movie which was beautifully styled.  

Style advice for our Maman Women - I feel most of our customers know what they want, and the team are always there to help and give advice. I believe in getting your clothes tailored if they don’t quite fit and always having your outfit freshly ironed.

A new face here at Maman, Casey has always been surrounded by fashion.  From fashion sewing classes at high school to previous jobs in the industry it is the continuously changing landscape of fashion that she adores the most.  As our lead customer liaison, Casey loves interacting with both customers and colleagues to ensure that they are happy with their Maman experience.  A true problem solver, we admire her ability to make those around her feel special with her one on one service and quick solutions to any and all their fashion queries.

Favourite Maman Brands - American Vintage, Anine Bing and Citizens of Humanity.

Wardrobe Staples – I love a good blazer with boots and a statement bag to bring the outfit together.  I can’t go past a pair of dressy slides with a long skirt and button up blouse and for those long Sundays it has to be a matching tracksuit! American Vintage also have great staple tops for everyday wear.

Current Maman Wishlist - I love all of the Anine Bing jumpers and blazer, as well as the Tariet Vest from Ulla Johnson and a pair of Saint Laurent sunglasses in black.

Style inspiration - I adore Hailey Bieber's style because she consistently combines streetwear and athleisure clothes while still exuding an edgy vibe and never sacrificing class. Everywhere she goes she consistently presents a polished appearance.

Style advice for our Maman Women - Wear clothes you feel confident in because we all know that when you look good, you feel good.

Favourite Maman Brands - Day Birger et Mikkelsen, ba&sh, Zadig et Voltaire and Citizens of Humanity.  

Wardrobe Staples - A good pair of wide blue jeans like the Citizens of Humanity Palomas or Paige Anessa are a great foundation for any outfit! Additionally, I think you can't go wrong with a good cashmere sweater like the ones from Zadig et Voltaire or White + Warren. A nice, oversized blazer is always a chic way to compliment an outfit. Finally, in my opinion an outfit is never complete without a good pair of sunglasses. 

Current Maman Wishlist - The Jeffrey Blazer from ba&sh, Amelia Camisole from Anine Bing, Annina Trouser Jean from Citizens of Humanity and the Bill Cardigan from ba&sh. 

Style inspiration - I often find style inspiration through Pinterest and social media through the likes of Caroline Bessette-Kennedy who I think had such a chic, effortless and classic style.

Style advice for our Maman Women - Having a reliable range of basic pants and skirts that can be embellished with statement tops makes for easy dressing in the morning. Also don’t be afraid of trying on things that you may not conventionally reach for, this is when style breakthroughs occur!

Favourite Maman Brands - Zadig et Voltaire, Mos Mosh, Cara Cara, ba&sh, Rails and Anine Bing!

Wardrobe Staples - My wardrobe staples would be a classic knit jumper and loafers. I usually pair this with a dark wash jean or my Mos Mosh trousers. I love dressing comfortably and scaling the outfit up by adding a bag like the rocky grained leather by Zadig. In the summer I love a long white skirt and cami, I love Mes Demoiselles for this!

Current Maman Wishlist - Joecassin Loafers, Alma Heart Jumper,  Helena dark chocolate sunglasses, Lucien Jacket  and the Evalyn Long Faux Fur Coat. 

Style inspiration - My inspiration usually comes from the Parisian chic look, I love looking at Jeanne Damas’ style as well as older looks like Jane Birkin. I have also been loving Sofia Grainge’s new style! My mum is another style icon I look to, I am always asking for advice on different pieces and outfit ideas. We would always watch Audrey Hepburn movies together, definitely where my love for fashion was born! 

Style advice for our Maman Women - I would encourage our women to take inspiration from all eras! Fashion is always evolving and I think it’s so cool to see the modernisation of past eras.
