Maman x Kindness Collective | The Gift of Giving Back
Every holiday season, Maman Boutique is honoured to turn the spirit of giving into real impact. For years, we’ve celebrated The Gift of Giving Back, a time when our community comes together to share love, hope, and support with those who need it most. In 2025, we’re deeply proud to partner with the Kindness Collective, embracing their mission to bring kindness, dignity, and joy to Kiwi families this Christmas.
At Maman, community is at the heart of everything we do. In past years, we've partnered with Women’s Refuge, delivering gifts to women and children rebuilding their lives. This year, we’re delighted to extend our reach by teaming up with the Kindness Collective, a nationwide charity committed to connecting children and families with the things they need, from everyday essentials to moments of joy.
Founded on kindness, the Collective runs powerful programmes, including their Christmas Joy Store, which gives referred parents the opportunity to “shop” for gifts their children will really love, free of charge. It’s not just about giving, but about restoring choice and dignity.
This year, we’re hosting a Giving Tree in-store, inviting our Maman community to drop brand-new, unwrapped gifts under the tree. These go straight to the Kindness Collective to distribute to families in need.
For those of you who do not live near the store we have set up an online Giving Tree which you can donate to.
So here’s how you can join Maman in making this holiday season brighter for others:
1. Shop for a cause
Pop into our store and donate brand-new, unwrapped children's gifts under our Giving Tree.
2. Give directly
If you prefer to support financially, consider a donation through our Gifting Tree online at the Kindness Collective. https://givingtree.kindness.org.nz/maman-boutique
3. Share the love
Tell friends, family, or colleagues about the Giving Tree and invite them to contribute.
We believe every gift, no matter how small, holds meaning and collectively, they create real magic. Your generosity helps children in 91 towns across New Zealand, thanks to the Kindness Collective’s national reach.
Every year since we started this initiative we are utterly blown away with the support from our customers, local businesses and community.
Mid December this year our founders Kate and Emma will deliver all donations to the Kindness Collective ahead of the Christmas Giving Day they put on.
