An Ode to Women for The Arts

The Maman team was honoured to celebrate International Women's Day at the annual 'An Ode to Women for The Arts' luncheon, at NSP Parnell on Friday 7th March.
Here at Maman, we believe fashion is more than just style; it’s a reflection of artistry, identity, and empowerment. That belief came to life in a truly unforgettable way at An Ode to Women for the Arts, an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the power of women in the creative world.
The event was a multi-sensory experience, featuring stunning art installations, live performances, and, of course, a selection of Maman's new season collections that embodied the essence of femininity and strength. Every detail was thoughtfully designed by Jillian Friedlander and Sarah Hutchings to showcase the intersection of art and fashion, celebrating the creative voices that continue to shape our world.
Beyond the aesthetics, An Ode to Women for the Arts was about community, storytelling, and uplifting women across all creative fields. From designers and artists to musicians and writers, the event provided a platform for meaningful conversations, collaborations, and a shared appreciation for artistic expression.
Thank you to our wonderful suppliers Maison Balzac and Chantelle who provided the goodie bags for the day, and to Favorite Daughter and RIXO for supplying wardrobe to the fantastic MCee, Renee Wright.
The lucheon was more than an event, it was a reminder that women’s creativity deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported. At Maman, we remain dedicated to fostering spaces where fashion and art empower and inspire.
To all who attended, participated, and supported — thank you for making this event so special. Here’s to more moments of beauty, artistry, and empowerment.
