10 YEARS TOGETHER

HANNAH WARREN

Interior Architect and Long-time Friend of Maman

Maman’s 10-year anniversary is not just a celebration of fashion, but of enduring friendships and shared values, and few embody this more than interior architect Hannah Warren.

Hannah and Maman share more than a love for quiet elegance; they’re united by a commitment to authenticity, longevity, and spaces that feel deeply personal and enduring. Just as Maman’s pieces become cherished, everyday staples, Hannah’s interiors are designed to grow with families, timeless environments that evolve alongside the people who live in them.

Hannah has been part of Maman’s story since the very beginning, her work was an inspiration for our first store on Clonbern Road and then became the interior designer behind our beautiful boutique space on Remuera Road. Her vision helped bring Maman’s ethos to life in a physical form, creating environments that feel calm, elevated, and inviting.  Hannah’s attention to detail and deep understanding of space mirrors the thoughtful, understated luxury we hold dear at Maman.

With a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture (Honours), Hannah launched her career on the world stage, designing rooftop bars in Moscow and serene spas in Indonesia, before returning to Auckland to establish her own studio over a decade ago: Hannah Warren Interiors.  Her work is known for its calm, tactile beauty, using honest materials, soft textures, and a warm, natural palette. Each project is guided from architectural vision to final styling, creating spaces that are both functional and soulfully inviting.

Featuring Hannah in our Ten Years Together campaign feels not only natural, but necessary, a tribute to the friendships, shared philosophies, and creative spirits who have helped shape Maman into what it is today.

Who introduced you to Maman?

My older sisters.

What’s your first memory of shopping at Maman?

I remember being excited by the international brands they carried.

Do you have a special piece from Maman that holds a story or memory?

Yes, my Anine Bing black blazer. It's been on heavy rotation for years and somehow works for everything. I’ve actually brought it twice, I retired one when it was looking tired and repurchased the same one.

How has Maman been part of your personal style journey over the years?

Maman’s buying has always matched my style, effortless and timeless.

What does Maman mean to you in three words?

Thoughtfully curated and consistent.

Which Maman moment or event stands out most in your memory?

The opening night of their Remuera Road Boutique. It was so cool to help bring Emma and Kate’s vision to reality with the interiors.

What’s your go-to Maman outfit that makes you feel most like you?

My Anine Bing Classic black blazer, Citizens of Humanity Horseshoe denim, and Anine Bing slides. It’s my uniform.

What has kept you coming back to Maman over the past 10 years?

The buying is always so on point. They consistently carry timeless brands and I know I’ll always find something I love.

If Maman were a person, how would you describe her?

She’s the effortlessly cool friend who always looks put together, but never tries too hard. Understated, confident, and polished.

What would you like to see from Maman in the next 10 years?

More of what they’re already doing, maybe expanding into more lifestyle pieces or collaborations. I’d love to see their take on homeware with Maman Maison grow.
